BOGUE FALAYA PARK MASTER PLAN

The City of Covington hosted a public meeting on Wednesday, July 13th, to give the community an initial view of the proposed Bogue Falaya Park Master Plan Project design.  Attendees were encouraged to examine preliminary conceptual designs and speak one-on-one with the engineers and landscape architects working on the project as well as city officials.

“Our goal is to protect the beauty of this cherished facility and maximize its use so that residents and visitors can enjoy the park as a cultural and recreational destination for generations to come,” Mayor Mike Cooper.

The City wants to ensure that the public has a voice in this plan as they are a huge component to the character and ideals of our community.  If you were unable to attend, below is a printable map of the conceptual design and link to additional information regarding the Master Plan.

Please take a moment to review and feel free to send your comments/questions to Kelli Moore at kmoore@covla.com who is collecting your essential feedback for distribution to the Bogue Falaya Park Master Plan team.  Your vision is a key component to a dynamic and vibrant Bogue Falaya Park -- we appreciate your input!
